Moon watching is an interesting activity especially when then moon is at its full size, i.e. during full moon.
It is often difficult to get better view of the moon in cities and towns where there is a lot of light interference.

Crescent Moon as photographed from Subdistrict town of Sonder in Minahasa regency |
The highland of Minahasa has got places where man-made light is very little or does not exist. It is an ideal place to observe the moon and other planets.
Here is the photograph of the crescent moon that was taken in Subdistrict Sonder. The photographic device that was used was an old bridge camera Fujifilm HS50EXR whose image sensor is very small (1/2 inch) compared to modern D-SLR camera.
At least, this picture can be used as reference for visitors who love stargazing or moon-watching so that they will be interested to visit Minahasa highland to do such activity.
