Minahasa is a region in North Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It is a great destination for tourists who love nature. One of the attractions which tourists can enjoy is farm tour. The Highland of Minahasa provides very good climate for the growth of flowers. Villagers like to grow flowers in big planters or containers and put them along the footh path. Sometimes visitors from nearby cities pass by the villages and those flower plants. If they are interested, they will stop and buy the flowers. Bougainvillea, anthurium or laceleaf, hibiscus and orchid are popular flower plants that are often bought by visitors from nearby Manado city, Bitung and Tomohon and Tondano.

The agricultural produce that are harvested in Minahasa Highland is sold to local markets in the Province of North Sulawesi and is also sent to other cities in Indonesia such as Balikpapan, Ternate, Sorong and even Jakarta.
